In-Game Description: The world had no more fish to catch so you went to heaven and got the fishing rod of the gods. Now you can fish from any time and fish that don't even exist.

Authors In-Depth Description: The 10th and final fishing rod you get in the game. This one is better than the all the other fishing rods in the game and can catch all the fish in the game. Below is a good example of what it will look like, with a golden ornate design and pattern with angel wings on the bottom.

In-Game Description: Everyone thinks snails are so slimy and horrible but look who got to heaven! It's amazing but some snails like this one can actually swim despite their shell.

Authors In-Depth Description: Although the white lipped banded snail is not necessarily a pond snail, I have chosen to use it due to its white shell with a nice pattern. I wanted something white and pretty for the heavenly respite location so that is why I picked this species. It should also be easy to identify, in case I ever expand with more snails but I don't think that would be necessary.

Authors In-Depth Description: This is the fruit fish for the cherry tree and looks like the typical cartoon cherries on two green stems with fish as the cherries. It would like a combination of the two images below.

In-Game Description: This fish is so tiny and light it just can't live on the earths surface. It may take several hundred of them to make a decent snack.

Authors In-Depth Description: This fish is actually called a Neon Tetra but people I knew always used to call them Micro fish so that is why it is called that. This fish has a distinctive strong colours and pattern so it should be easy to identify and make a small design if need be.

In-Game Description: Not a puffer fish but a puff fish. This fish is made of pure water evaporation and condensation. Just don't let a breeze hit it or you will be chasing it back to Sunny Hills.

Authors In-Depth Description: A fish made out of clouds. The only fish which is surreal and not based on a particular element or fruit. I was running out of fish to use which would be even remotely apt to use in this location so I made one up. The idea of a fish made out of clouds sounds really cute anyway. It is pretty much what you would imagine a cloud fish would look like. A fluffy puffy cloud shaped like a fish basically. I would like to make it mixture between the designs of these two pictures. In one respect it would be fish shaped and look like clouds but it would also have a puffy cloud effect and maybe a wavy blue tail similar to the cloud Pokemon in the second example.

In-Game Description: Where else would a flying fish be but in the skies? I guess this fish wanted to go to heaven early. Wow, what a cheater! Maybe we should report it.

Authors In-Depth Description: A flying fish is pretty self explanatory and most people have heard of it. I would make the design look like a combination of the bottom two examples. I prefer the colours and position of the first image but some features may need to be exaggerated such as the second image.

Authors In-Depth Description: This fish is a holy fish in the most traditional sense so it will look like the beautiful white fish in the first example with typical angel wings and halo like the 2nd example with a yellow holy glow around the body as well. All holy themed items have these aspects in one way or another for a typical holy effect which makes them easy to identify and just silly.

In-Game Description: A humungous octopus said to take down anything it comes across whether it is entire fleets of war ships or a little fishing boat. Its tentacles can rip them apart in minutes.

Authors In-Depth Description: The Kraken is a well known mythology based on a story about defeating it, similar to the Moby Dick story. There are different renditions of the Kraken but I like the one which is just a gigantic octopus and nothing strange or mutated so this will be the version I will use for my game design.

In-Game Description: A legendary shark more fierce than the worst normal shark. It is said to have lived many years ago and were so big it could eat whales and somehow you caught one.

Authors In-Depth Description: Megalodon is actually supposed to have actually existed a very long time ago so technically isn't a myth but it is an amazing idea anyway so I am using it. I like the rendition below as this makes it look a little different to the other sharks in the game, especially if I add something for scale and/or scars.

In-Game Description: The great white whale is well known from a famous story about a man on a quest to kill the beast. Some say he is still riding him tied to his back.

Authors In-Depth Description: Moby Dick is an old folks tale which most people know from the famous book of the same name. There are many interpretations of the old tale of Moby Dick the white whale. Some show it as being supernaturally large whereas others show it as the normal size of a blue whale. Some show it with red eyes and white skin as if it is an albino whale but some show it as a plain normal blue whale. The examples below are what I consider the best renditions and I will likely use aspects from all of these to create the in-game design but I will definitely have the red eyes, white body. I will also show it with a spear in its back with a man hanging on coz that is awesome X3 It appears in the HarshSands Desert coz...just coz I need a legendary there even if it doesn't make much sense.

In-Game Description: AKA the sea horse, an old folk tale tells of a great creature dwelling in a large lake. Many claim to have seen it but no-one can prove it exists, until you caught it like a boss!

Authors In-Depth Description: The Loch Ness monster is a well known mythology/legend and this item is based off that legend. I will likely create the design for the game from a mixture between these two examples.

In-Game Description: As the sea dragon protects the sea the river dragon protects the rivers. It is said the river dragon once saved a child from drowning.

Authors In-Depth Description: This is directly based off the Japanese legend and/or mythology of the river dragon as you can see by the first example below. I have also used certain aspects of the Japanese Studio Ghibli movie Spirited Away which features a river dragon as a main character as you can see by the 2nd example below. The description is inspired by the story from that movie and I may use design elements from that character as a reference to the movie and because the colours and design are very simple and colourful. However, I think I will use some features of the first image as well as this will help it to look a little different and not a direct copy.

In-Game Description: The sea dragon is said to protect the creatures of the sea. He is often known for his inclusion in an old fairy tale teaching children to respect the sea and its wildlife.

Authors In-Depth Description: The sea dragon is an old mythology and this item is based off this. However, I have crossed over some story and behaviour elements from the river dragon mythology from japan as well. I will use a simple design like the example below.

In-Game Description: A turtle so large it has grown trees and other plants on its back. It is even inhabited by other creatures. When discovered it was believed to be an island.

Authors In-Depth Description: This is a huge turtle the size of an island and it grows its own little world full of trees, moss, grass and flowers and even waterfalls on its back but it still moves about. This idea has been around for a long time as it is old mythology. There are many interpretations to what the island turtle is like with many different sizes ranging from a small island to the size of a country and with different things on its back including even whole human civilisations with cities. However, I decided to pick a smaller type with only beach wildlife on it as this fits the beach theme which it resides in my game. Therefore it will look similar to the example I found below except perhaps with an added waterfall and obviously an actual turtle and not a tortoise lol.

In-Game Description: A humungous crab unlike any other. Said to have grown to a giant size after getting stuck in a cave and eating rare fish, its massive claws can cut through cruise ships.

Authors In-Depth Description: This creature is a crab the size of a building of at least several floors which is growing moss on its back and between its claw joints. Although it has been shown in many ways, the idea of a giant crab monster is common in video games and based off old mythology and legend. They appear different per game but my favourite vision of this crab is the one with moss growing all over it and looking like a normal crab rather than some monstrous mutation of a crustacean. Although I swear I have seen it before, it is hard to find the specific version of this I am referring to without remembering the particular instance I saw it so below is a very close example. Just imagine it has moss growing on it and it is green and red.
