In-Game Description: Not seen many toads? That's because they all died out, all except the albino ones. Once the underlings these guys survive by hiding in the snow.

Authors In-Depth Description: The only thing missing in this lower picture is the pink eyes which I will have in my design.

In-Game Description: Sunfish have a very strange shape compared to other fish which seems almost like a cartoon design. This shape allows them to cut through the water easily.

Authors In-Depth Description: The Sunfish I have seen a few times in RPG video games with fishing in and so I think they are relatively well known. The one they usually show is the ocean sunfish although they often show it as being a simpler and more colourful design with yellow often being the colour of choice. I think I will follow this and do the same. Ironically enough, despite me saying this I can't seem to find a picture of a yellow one but I do have some examples of various colours in the second example.

In-Game Description: This fish is cold, very very cold. It may be discovered in a hundred years from now and it would be perfectly preserved. Maybe it is trying to time travel.

Authors In-Depth Description: This is the fish of the ice element so it will be a round fish like the 2nd example but it will be frozen in a block of ice like the top example. Why? coz its stupid and wonderful!

(A legendary fish is a special very rare item (usually only one per location) which requires the best fishing rod (Godly Fishing Rod) in order to catch. Each Legendary creature has a story in the games texts)

In-Game Description: A humungous octopus said to take down anything it comes across whether it is entire fleets of war ships or a little fishing boat. Its tentacles can rip them apart in minutes.

Authors In-Depth Description: The Kraken is a well known mythology based on a story about defeating it, similar to the Moby Dick story. There are different renditions of the Kraken but I like the one which is just a gigantic octopus and nothing strange or mutated so this will be the version I will use for my game design.

Item Location: SugarLick Mountains / The Snow Pool (undecided which yet)

 

What is this plant?: A small bunch of stem plants with single flowers drooping off the top of each stem

In-Game Description: The only place these plants will grow is in the fresh white snow. Despite being able to withstand the cold, these plants are rather fragile.

Authors In-Depth Description: The real plants don't grow in cold places but for the sake of the game they do. Apart from a simpler design with less stems, the plant will look pretty much the same from real life in the game.

Dominating Enemy Types: Ice

In-Game Description: The snow pool is exactly what it sounds like. A big hole full of nothing but pure snow. It is so soft you could swim in it and it seems some fish do.

 

Authors In-Depth Description: This is a small area mainly for being a fishing spot within the Sugarlick Mountains. There are no special enemies here but you can get some unique fish and maybe plants. Since revising the fishing system, I need a Sea source in this location but it is easy as I will do it the same way I did it in SugarLick Mountains with the cliff edge on the right side this time leading to the Sea.
