In-Game Description: The sea urchin looks like a kind of plant but it is actually a living creature. It lives off eating algae like a snail does. They are spiky so they don't get eaten.

Authors In-Depth Description: Missed one so here it is. There are now 100 fishing items in all! I needed a pond fish in Diggin Ditch but Urchins actually live in the sea. I thought something like this would live in the Diggin Ditch so I put it there anyway.

In-Game Description: This crustacean seems to be made of rock and earth. How that works underwater I have no idea. If the current is too strong it could wear it down.

Authors In-Depth Description: This lobster is ground element and so is made of rocks, dirt and stone. It will look brown and blocky similar to the example below but not quite the same. It will be more earthy than that with round shapes to make it look more like it is directly made of rocks and stones.

In-Game Description: The lemon fish is as tough as nails. It is said it can eat anything due to its diet of only strong lemons. This diet gives it a very powerful taste.

Authors In-Depth Description: there is obviously no such thing as a lemon fish but I am making a fish for each fruit in the game for fun. I will likely design it with a combination of the two examples below. Likely the body of the top one and the mouth and fins of the bottom one or something along those lines.

In-Game Description: Not all sharks are big and scary. This shark is small like a tuna fish and has pretty patterns unique to each one. It is in the carpet shark family.

Authors In-Depth Description: I chose the Burmese Bamboo Shark for my inspiration due to its nice black and white stripy colour which makes it stand out although they can come in other patterns as well.

In-Game Description: So called for its characteristic head shape that resembles a hammer. They look cute but you wont be smiling when this thing swings its head at you.

Authors In-Depth Description: There are actually several types of Hammerhead shark but the best known is the Great Hammerhead Shark as shown in the examples below and this will be the one I base my in-game design on.

What is this plant?: A bunch of small stem plants with iconic leafs

In-Game Description: These plants are surprisingly versatile and have learned to creep their way into even into this earthy ditch. If you are lucky, you may find a four leaf clover.

Authors In-Depth Description: Yet another plant which doesn't fit with any other category. I think I will add this as well as the others into an Other category but it will stay like this for now in case more plants are needed although I doubt it. Despite the fact this plant does have flowers, they are not used in the game or at least not yet. I am also showing the plant as a much smaller group in the game than is realistic for simplicities sake.

What is this plant?: A tree which grows nuts in its branches

In-Game Description: It may seem funny to see a coconut tree here but this is one strong tree. Rather than being in a strong shell like other nuts, the nut is tough like the shell itself.

Authors In-Depth Description: Of course a coconut tree is not meant to be in this kind of area but this game is a strange one so things are different. Again, the trees design will likely be adapted to look pretty different in leaf, bark pattern and colours to be more appropriate for the area it resides in the game.

What type of plant?: A tree which grows lemons in its branches

 

In-Game Description: Just like a lot of other things in the area, the lemon tree is one strong tree able to stand all manor of rock and rubble. It's fruits reflect its strength.

 

Authors In-Depth Description: I have added spikes to the design to make it seem tough like the in-game description says. It is in a tough rocky ground area so this makes more sense in the context of the game. Each tree needs to look distinctive and appropriate for the setting so these changes are appropriate.

In-Game Description: What is a factory doing here? It seems this place hasn't been touched for centuries but you can see machines chugging away. How strange

 

Authors In-Depth Description: After visiting previous locations you will have explored all of the open areas of the game but there are more places to go within caves in the places you have been before. Wishing Wind Plains was the last place you went to so it makes sense to go somewhere nearby. None of the caves in these previous areas are open to you, until you finish a story mission within Wishing Wind Plains and visited all other past locations for their story missions. This cave features strange large rusty machinery pumping away around you and creatures which seem to be half beast and half machine. There are oil spills everywhere which serve the purpose of the usual lakes and ponds around the other locations. There is even an oil waterfall. It is a very strange place which despite being mechanical seems to be trying to act like a place of nature. Nevertheless, some nature has managed to thrive here as fish in the oil somehow but no natural plants grow here. well not 100% natural anyway. Everything here is mysterious and strange. What is the secret behind this place I wonder? you will have to wait and see :3 Since revising the fishing system, I need a Sea source in this location. The rivers where already planned for and potential ponds if needed. I was thinking of having the sea coming in through a hole in the mountain side we are in at back of the cave. There the Sea will come into a small area it has made for itself but the water will become effected like the other water sources once it enters the cave.

SEE TAGS for more info on anything in this wiki   NO SPRITE ART YET Location Name: Diggin Ditch Category: Location Dominating Enemy Types: Earth In-Game Description: A large ditch full of nothing but dirt and rock. Some say it was left after a huge avalanche or explosion. Only the hardiest beasts live here.   Authors In-Depth Description: The other areas you have been to until now have been relatively nice looking although getting progressively tougher but this is when things start to get really harsh and a bit trickier. not a difficulty spike but a sign of things being harder ahead and good preparation for tougher elements and less pretty and explorable environments. Things are only gonna get trickier from here. The area is a big thick path of brown dirt with rocks and boulders all around. Despite this, there are plants growing and creatures to battle but they are much hardier in defence and u may need to think of new strategies to beat them. This part forces you to not use levelling as your advantage in every battle but to use some more elemental effects and items instead to gain the upper hand. Hopefully a welcome change and not a frustrating one. The area is pretty straight forward design wise as it is a large straight line with not much twists and turns and pretty small compared to other areas. Since revising the fishing system, I will need a Sea source in this location. The other fishing sources are easy and already planned to be there but the Sea source is a tricky one. However, I have a great idea! Heavenly Respite should be above the Diggin Ditch and there is water up there so it would make sense to have the water from that coming down into the ditch. This way I won't have to majorly change the design to have access to the Sea source!
